We did enjoy it being laid back and no line at the boardwalk. Do you guys go around ballast island or thread the needle when you head up. I just always take it safe and go around
Thread the needle… always tough finding those first green buoys though…. This year we go the other way around.. prefer that
Had a terrible day today leaving the island ….. first lost my port starter Selinoid ….. had a spare. Changed that after swearing for an hour. Then almost got hit by a sailboat coming out of the balls….. he was half mast with the sails and I assume he felt he had the right away no matter what he did. I blasted the horn and in the end had to flip him off to feel better….. I swear he was trying to hit me

For us it just depends on which way the wind is coming from and what boat we're on. We prefer to go the west side of South Bass, better scenery AND it's also shorter distance/travel time for us.

7.10 a gallon now, oh well. Gonna put 1,000 bucks in tomorrow. Heading for Cedar Point, PIB, and maumee for a 7 day trip starting tomorrow at 9am. Next weeks weather looks absolutely perfect!
We are down at the vermillion fish festival with 4 other boats. Great time so far. At the town docks in a perfect slip

I’ve seen it green…. We had 6-7 footers yesterday…. 2’ rollers coming up the river last night. That and rain up stream and it churns it up

Just gonna miss you down there. Going down (with a couple of MacRay boats) to PIB on July 5th thru July 8th, to get back in time for the Air Show.
The water went up about 12” with that north wind Friday night. Not sure if it would flood some places or not

There should be a 390 and a 310 near you, they’re my dock neighbor's at macray. Looks like you’re on C dock and they may be right behind you.
