We have never been to PIB. We plan on stopping there on a Wed late June and staying the night when we head from CP to Maumee bay. I do not want to stay on the public docks. Crews Nest or Millers rent transients mid week???

Yes, Crews Inn is where we go every summer. Super clean and they have a brand new pool that’s kid friendly. I think Blueone is a member so he knows a lot more.

We’ve never been to Maumee Bay. I would like to go sometime but the boat crew we hangout with said it’s pretty boring. That gives me hesitation

There isnt much to do there and we never leave the resort. My kids are still young (9,8) so we go for them. They enjoy the indoor and outdoor pools and splash pads. I imagine when they are older we will probably stop going.

Maumee looks like great place to hang out for a couple of days. As long as the on-site restaurant is decent it looks fine to me. Bring the clubs, play in the morning, grab lunch, hang by the pool, have dinner and kick back. Boring works for me.

A restaurant and a bar onsite, both are good. The docks are very nice for hanging out on. For the folks that like to bar hop and whoop it up, probably not as exciting. I for one dont care where the boat is tied up as long as the docks arent flooded with non boaters and the beer is cold, im easy!

If I was going during the week for a afternoon/night with kids I would go to Crews. $2.50/ft and a $30/$40 resort fee. Bars, restaurant adult/kid pool. First choice if you have kids
We always stay at Miller’s another great spot but no pool
