With temps in the 80's and nothing but blue skies, we took full advantage and social distanced to the full extent this weekend.

I don’t think I want to know what the water temperature is up there.... Yikes.. It looks warm, but I am guessing it is not, at all! Great pics... Beautiful day...

Put your hand in, it's numb in about 10 seconds. Especially right now when these inland ocean fjords are all fed by the snow melt. Still, I did see people swimming this weekend. But not us. :) There are places we can go in the summer where it will warm up to the 70's due to limited tidal movement. Eventually. But those places are few and far between. The Pacific is cold and the currents here run straight down from Alaska. The best is finding an anchorage walking distance to a nice warm lake.

I have not tried this before so I'm not sure of the results... This was last Saturday on Puget Sound in front of Tacoma...

I saw it ...seemed to work. If you copy the direct view link on Vimeo and then click the little film icon above and paste it in there, it should link the video directly to the forum here.

Here's a little 360 I shot from the dinghy while my son was napping in the cabin. That's my wife and mother-in-law in the back there. :)

sweet and your resolution is 100x better than mine... I used my I-pad and just put one engine in forward and the other in reverse

That is friggin awesome brother!!!! I wanna go boat with you guys!!!:D

Man, and I thought we had good boating in FL!! You two guys got us beat hands DOWN!!!!

It's beautiful for sure, but what I wouldn't give to be able to fall off the back of the swim platform into that warm Florida ocean. I miss that clear blue warm gulf!

Mike, how long of a run is it up to Indian Arm from downtown Vancouver ? It looks pretty close on the map.
