We enjoyed a glorious day on the water. My good friend Bob, his father-in-law Jack, and I took a tour. We set
out from Mattapoisett, headed over to Woods Hole, then down the West coast of
the Elizabeth Islands to Cuttyhunk, across to Menemsha for lunch. Then up to Oak
Bluffs, back to Vineyard Haven and then returned to launch point. All told, we
covered 72nm, 4h 50m moving time with 4h stopped time, and burned 52 gallons of
fuel.

Here is our track...

Looks like a good time was had, and the boat ran well, your all set, bring on the summer!

Nice! I was up on Boston harbor Sunday and it was blowing like crazy. Surprised it was that calm down in buzzards bay.

With the winds out of the NE all day I knew anything North of the Cape was in for it. Being in the lee of the Cape made for an unusually calm day for Buzzards Bay, Vineyard Sound, and Nantucket Sound.

What a great way to spend an early summer day. I love boating before all the crazies hit the water....and the sea food was just a tease!

Nice Chuck!!..our boat was put in last Friday, won't get to use it for a couple of weeks.. can't wait to get out there.

Glad someone got out and enjoyed the sun shine... Looks like a lovely day. (OK yes I am jealous) Thanks for sharing your adventure with us Chuck!

Looked like a great day. There are times I do miss that area. Then I remember traffic, tourists, tourists with traffic, etc...

I spent the weekend in Essex doing "wax on, wax off". The weather on the North Shore was mostly cloudy so it was a perfect day for washing and waxing. We are hoping to launch this weekend if I can get our docks in the water this week.

Chuck you really need to get rid of the frisbee table. That being said, that is the most food I have ever seen on one of those things!

That table gets upgraded when I move into a 58DA

No need for a yacht to update your table!
