The "virus" What are your thoughts

Went to a good friends party the other night. This is how he greated us.

What is the problem with uploading pictures. This picture was correct when I uploaded it. This site turned it sideways. Tried it on my phone, same thing. Then I put the picture sideways before I uploaded it. It kept it sideways? ?

Have a safe week.

Simply edit the photo. Make slightly smaller then upload it.

We have our largest trade show of the year next week in Orlando FL, HIMSS. It is dubbed the largest IT Conference in the US attracting around 50k people. They have issued a no hand-shake rule. Just today Cisco pulled out. I'm wondering if others will as well, or if HIMSS pulls the plug all together. Interestingly Trump was just added today as a speaker at the this largest healthcare conference in the US.

Keep us posted...Judging by the resent trade show cancellations, I wouldn't be surprised.

I'm guessing he would be a tele-speaker? He wasn't planning on attending was he?

As states now get the ability to test, I think a lot more cases will be showing up in the next few days, followed by an assessment of the true magnitude of this.

FEMA is prepping for an announcement in regards to more funding through the president

We just arrived in the Bahamas. Saw a few masks at the airport. Of course I picked up the flu two weeks ago and still dealing with the residuals. I’m trying not to frighten other travelers.o_O (I did go to the Dr. I did not have COVID19)

The image contains meta-data embedded within it about the original orientation of the camera. The problem occurs when a camera, a web app and a browser do not all interpret it the same way. It's a fairly common problem in forums, but I couldn't tell you which entity got it wrong. The orientation can sometimes get corrected if the image is forced to be re-written as in the case of a resize, crop, etc.

I’ll be there.

Headed to Con Expo in Vegas next week. 130,000 people. Little apprehensive.

If you edit the picture in any way then save it it will correct the problem. I have no idea why.

I'm in Vegas right now and will be back next week as well. I work for one of the largest construction companies in the world. We just imposed a ban on international travel and have withdrawn approval for our large contingent of attendees for Con Expo. Sad but it's in the interest of our employees and their families.

Next week I am suppose to be in Vegas too for our conference ISC West (security conference), some of the major vendors have announced they are pulling out. I am on the fence, I think I would probably cancel if I was flying commercially.

Attendee. I expect to cut it short now.
We are sending a skeleton crew this year as we anticipate low attendance and we want to minimize risk within our org. Many major customers and vendors have pulled out (HCA, Cisco, HP, Amazon).
Unfortunately i'm the sales leader so i will be in attendance all week.

I wish you well, Craig. All of us, really. Groups large or small. One never knows. One of the downsides of easy international/long distance travel.

Thanks, I'm going to limit my exposure as much as I can but barring a last minute reversal looks like I'll be going. Take proper precautions and hope for the best.

I had to go to Costco yesterday to pick up a bag of dog food and was amazed at the size of the crowd. It looked like the Christmas crowd.

Between what we use on the boat and around the pool, we go through about 4 cases of water a summer. I saw people walking out with their carts full of water and toilet paper and paper towels. I got in the line to get bottled water and was told there is a limit of 6 cases of water per household and 4 paper products. Many of the people I saw walking out had that much.

Amazing. C'mon people, your tap water is not going to be shut off, and how long would it take you to use 4 cases of toilet paper? I don't get it.
