What about those of us who tow to the water? Lets see your tow rigs.

I don't tow the boat I have now but when I had my 24' Glastron I used my company truck.

After the last ride of 2011. My 2002 2500HD Chevy 4x4 Extended cab 6.5 box with 6.0L 4L85E and 4:10's. Boat is on a 2002 Majic Tilt aluminum with 4 wheel discs.

The boat that the Sea Ray replaced (notice the WDH even with surge brakes):

towed with same truck.
Our other summer toy hooked up and ready to roll:

Wow! Your front end must have been on the ground for you to have needed a " 2' " leveling kit...lol Suburban looks nice.

Here ya go. I don't have a boat yet but, this was taken a couple of weeks ago just before I drove to Nebraska to look at a boat that the owner said was in good shape. It’s still there if anybody is interested in a huge project.

I’m still looking for the 255 or 270 Sedan Bridge to put on the Caulkins triple axle trailer. Maybe this winter/spring????

That truck rocks! I love the first gens.

My tow vehicle is a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 Cummins diesel with an 8 ft box. Here's a pic of it sitting on Daytona Beach with my daughter standing in front. HD four headlight conversion, Rancho adjustables at all 4 corners, Rancho steering stabilizer, Hellwig rear sway bar, etc. Looking to get a hitch extender so I can pull the Sea Ray when the Lance LC980 is on top.

Actually it wasn't, the kit wasn't supposed to lift that much, but it did, so I added 1" to the rear to compensate. Thanks for the compliment Donnie, as you know it was my dad's truck, only has 30,000 miles on it, still smells new and it's 12 yrs. old. I want to let it go on one hand and get a duramax like yours but it's too sentimental I guess. That's one reason we were looking to upgrade the boat and store at a marina. But for the short term it's the 280vs. Da Burban'.......LOL:lol:

I don't tow to/from the water but twice a year but here's mine:
2001 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, 8.1L, Allison transmission.

I got tired of "shoring fee's" so I built a trailer... Usually need a tractor to move her...

ImageUploadedByTapatalk1334228893.845407.jpg Sorry, I'm in between trailers right now so I can't show it hooked up.
Don't have much trouble towing the 270, running 504 rwhp, 1092 ft# torque. I've dumped about 5k into this old PSD 7.3. And I still get 21-23 mpg. Hybrid this!
