Glomex Amp Control Operation

Can someone help me understand the Glomex amp control? I am trying to figure out how to adjust the gain and then switch from Glomex to Shore connection. I see where the dial is clearly labeled but the dial just spins freely and I do not see a line on the dial to indicate what setting it is on. It does not stop or click when being turned. Is it suppoed to do this or is it supposed to only have the roughly 300 degrees of turn range indicated by the markings on the plate?

Mine has the aforementioned 300 degrees of spin, and it clicks when it hits the off position, or shore position as it were.

Same - clicks off. Click off to use cable. Rotate full on for antenna use. If you have 2 stations competing for air time, then I guess you would dial it down to only see one. Probably not an issue with digital, though.

if it doesn't click, the knob is cracked. pull the knob off, super glue it, put it back on.

Thanks for all the help! I will try the glue and see if that works. Otherwise maybe Glomex will send me a new knob. Looks like a new unit is about $100.
