under backs seats in the corners f I understand your question. Not technically scuppers I suppose - iirc these drain into bilge. I’ll look at mine later today.

So it also pegs when the key is just switched on and motor is not started.so would seem to be gauge. So I put my own voltmeter on the back of the gauge and when ignition is switched on it reads what the power of the batteries are not 16 like the pegged boat’s meter. Both batteries were a little under 12 though so I’ll be watching those. I want to run engine and see what my meter says when I’m connected to the batteries. Last time I did that it read about 14.4 which seemed correct. I might replace both batteries as I don’t know the age of these. I always put a date on my new batteries but PO did not.

Mine is a little over 14 volts on 1 2 or both batteries

Ok thanks. Tonite I l found dates on these batteries and they are 3/16 and 9/16! 7 yrs is pushing it imo. In the past mine have crapped out at 5 years almost to the day. I remove them and keep on trickle charger at home all winter. The PO left batteries onboard all winter and only removed the negative cables. His mechanic told me that’s the best way to go. Maybe that’s a better way to prolong their service life? I’m thinking of doing what he did. Other opinions appreciated.

interesting article. Fwiw

OK replaced gauge with FP's (not easy with big meat hooks but doable). Hook-up was identical to old gauge. Reads 14.4 with engine running, 12 or so with key on and engine off - so gives a good read on state of batteries. Might wait till spring to replace batteries and let the old ones sit in the boat over winter. I'd recommend their gauges. fwiw

Good, glad you got it figured out, Dave.

Interesting, though... FP charges more for that (it's not made by FP) than buying it from a Sea Ray dealer! Not by much, but still.

Anyone ever source replacement front hatch supports? Adjustment knobs seem frozen and do not grip the rods to keep hatch open.

Wow these bilge exhaust vents I got on eBay from Searayman are quite nice. Mine were brittle and faded, ready to pitch. Nice refit.
