Well, it's freezing out here today...maybe hight 40s and drizzling. So much for waxing the hull.

I have to find some shop work today to avoid going batty. I may stain my boarding ramps in between beers maybe and have a few furniture projects in the works.

Of course having made my splash appointment yesterday (5/6), the warm weather is gone now that the clock is running.

The boat gods have a sense of humor for sure.

My wife is in Tampa visiting daughter. I’m at the bar, cold beers and Daniel Boone. Life is good.
Trying to decide on pizza, cheesesteak, or burger for dinner.

I'd rather be in Tampa heading to a beach restaurant and ordering a blackened grouper sandwich for lunch.

This weekend a good friend invited us to Thunder over Louisville. Awesome air show and one of the largest firework shows in the United States. It was frigging cold! With wind it felt like it was in the 30’s

I have the blue sleeping bag over me. The two other guys and I have known each other since third grade. Lived within five houses of each other. We camp and boat together 4 or 5 times a year.

Something going on weird. Warm winter, zero snow, now nearly May and its cold.

I had to drop and cut up a few trees at my rental property. I was glad it wasn't any warmer. I was sweating like Obama trying to tell the truth. This is nice yard work weather. My splash day is 5-1 Hoping for decent weather the weekend before as I still have lots to do.

Polished the transom and about 1/3 of the starboard side when it began to drizzle.

Before I got my junk in the car there was BB sized hail pelting me.

The front right, 1858 Remington.36, Pale Rider, remember the scene he walking down street and changes cylinder, that one, made in 1971, 52 years old and never been fired. Won that auction too. So far I cant bring myself to shoot it. Maybe someday, but i have enough others to play with for now.

I setup a range in the house, temporary until my actual indoor target setup arrives Thursday.
For days when too nasty weather for real range or boat.

Freeze warnings posted last night, tonight and probably tomorrow night. We're sitting at 43° right now. 20° below average. Dry tomorrow and Thursday then they are guessing 5 straight days of rain.

My launch just got pushed back 2wks because of weather, May 26 now.
