Thinking about this boat

Not really if its as clean as it looks and needs nothing , if there is such a thing , and that is just asking price , its not what you pay for a boat , its what you have to put in it after you buy it , i like what i see , i would be checking that one out for sure .
 
I wouldn't take that for my 78 240 and it really isn't as clean as that one appears to be in the pics
and 75 is just an asking price.
 
You know the drill....if the woods dry, motor has life left, out-drive has not turned to powder etc... it could be a good deal, if not it could be a white elephant.
Trivia: Where did the saying white elephant come from?

Yep.....with all the damaged boats out there, the used market may be tight. I thought that was a fair price. That would have been a roller cam motor and they run great, Mike.
 
I started to respond to say that $7,500 is a VERY fair price for a boat like that in good condition, but I had to step away for a few minutes. Guess I'm a little late to the party, now!

Oh well, you know what they say...
 
Shame you missed out on this one Wayne. I was excited to see it "has a table." You just don't find boats with tables very often.

I just sold (last fall) my 86 210 Seville mid Cabin for $6,600 - 5.7/Alpha - Great boat but crappy cockpit layout. Had 3 people that wanted it. I think that is a fair price if it's as clean as it looks and you have almost zero travel time.
