The site has become very buggy as of late, since the server upgrade. I think its a combo of people can't access, and have stopped trying.
Your winterization routine should be to head south for 6 months!!!Today seems better than yesterday but I also agree it could be the seasonal aspect of boating. All of us poor suckers living north of the mason/dixon are mourning the end of our boating season. The last thing we need is to come here and be reminded that you salt water suckers are just getting started
I live vicariously through the people that can boat year round. The pics and stories keep my seasonal affective disorder at bay.Today seems better than yesterday but I also agree it could be the seasonal aspect of boating. My opinion is the site is starting to outlive its usefulness. Sea Ray doesn’t anymore make the type of boats mostly discussed here so the same old models have been talked about over and over. I know the 400 Sedan Bridge thread has discussed solutions to just about every problem that can come up. Nothing more to talk about there. Just point to the previous discussion. There was a year or two where a group of posters decided to use the site as their personal “Facebook”, but that seems to have run its course. Anyway, just my thoughts.
I thought you signed off here????
I'm right here. And really...what more could you want?

Yes, I agree that my needs from this site are quite narrow and my comments reflect that.I will have to disagree with you on every level. Period. This may be true for you but I don't see it being for others.
If I only came here to get help, it would be a very long wait as my boat and mechanics have never really been discussed in any fashion here. I still learn from other people(s) and there idea's on what they are doing to their old boat, even though mine is one of the oldest on this site, especially of it's size.
I come here to vent in the way of helping others, on bad days it may be more of busting chops at times, but I still try and help out. In todays economy and the cost of new boat's hitting an all time high, I think this site will be used more then ever. Especially in the realm of electronics and the like, which the site's owner has a vested interest in, meaning BOEMarine.
Me too, busy enjoying boating and finding new boat problems to fix!I'm right here. And really...what more could you want?
