NW Inland Freshwater Rendezvous????

Damn! I was thinking Nate was going to really have a fit with something else that is going to go on. LOL
A fit? Nah. I'm gonna get my arse retired this Spring, head north, and live and breath that stupid boat until she's a clean machine. 'Not much is going to break my spirit from here on out.

You know, it doesn't have to be a hoodie. I am thinking of doing some flags and I have some t shirts here I also have a source for decals too. I'm doing our boat name on light weight fleece jackets for cooler nights. I do a lot of fleece for pilots because they pack small and have no weight to them.

I'm just happy something is happening in the NW. Just seems nothing really happens here.

I'm all about tee shirts with one caveat; I gotta have a pocket! Cell phone, reading glasses... In that light, a Polo might be more apropos. John, since you'll be running the embroidery aspect of this, should we supply you with shirts of our choosing, rather than you trying to please all of us with one style of garb? I hesitate to suggest that, since it would be nice to have similar outfits. But, it's not like we're starting a gang. Or are we? That'd be a sight! We could run around, charging "passage fees" through the locks. "Warriors! Come out to play-ay!"

I can get a great price on just about anything someone could want. So it doesn't matter. T shirts, I can get for less than $5 and polos anywhere from $5 to $40 depending on brand. I get the cheap ones for myself and am very pleased with the wear. I beat the crap out of the stuff I do for myself because in most cases it's free. And like Tom Peterson used to say, "Free is a very good price"

I do like the thought of a pocket. A pocket T or Polo would work for me. I'm a navy-blue kind of guy, but I don't think that logo would work on navy-blue. I think it would work on a gray shirt though!

Sundancer, I kinda like the idea of each of us picking out the shirt(s) they want and have the work done on each of them. That way each of us has a shirt we already know we'll like the way it fits, the color, style, etc.

That is the only way to do it. Otherwise nobody will be happy with it and it would be something that just sits in a closet.

I personally stay away from shirts or clothing with chest pockets. Lost a remote to a $80k total station (survey equipment). Fell out of my chest vest pocket. It only cost $8000 and three weeks of hand surveying. So, I stay away from those things. If you send me a PM with your color, style and size, I can price them out.

As for the final design, I'm trying to get my son to work on the changes. But there has been some illness in the house this week. I have been down with my yearly mold allergy attacks.

Mike,

These are for Sundancer OWNERS!!! You need to purchase one before you can get a shirt! Past ownership doesn't grant free entry into the club! But come to think of it, I don't want to walk to Lewiston either.... Scratch that!

Yeah, I guess you could always hitchhike while the rest of us ride in air conditioned comfort now, couldn't you! Naw, scratch that. I'll buy a nice looking shirt or two so I can wear them when you guys all cruise back into the Tri Cities. You guys will all be looking and smelling like you spent a week on a boat.

I'll be the one in the spiffy shirt with the spiffy emblem!

Inside? Did I ever infer y'all were riding inside? I'm getting a U-Haul trailer. :D

After being down with the sickness all week, and grumpy, that sure made me laugh. Made my owner (Saffron the blue heeler pup) just sit up and look at me funny.

Yeah getting better. With the cooler temps the mold spores are calming down. Winter makes me miss the NM deserts. Hell all the moisture makes me miss anything down south. But sitting in a driveway making boat sounds isn't as fun and sitting on the water and letting the boat make those sounds. Motor boatin down south has a different meaning than up here.

Lake Chelan is an extremely beautiful place.
I always go all the way back to Stehekin, you just need to be aware of the weather because the waves can get very bad.
It's the third deepest lake in the US.
This is this past August, we went with Jim (Sundancer) View attachment 115327 and his wife.

Just in case anybody is wondering, I'm snoozing on the left in the attached picture and so is my boat. My wife has a much lighter complexion on the right.
