Here’s a Canada crossing story, so of course 19 year old males living in metro detroit in the late 90’s early 00’s we would cross to Canada to drink at the bars legally, get wasted then drive back across the border back to Michigan. While one time crossing back from Canada sh*t faced, we pulled up to border patrol of course they went through their usual questions and knew we were sh*t faced, well this border patrol agent signals for the drug dog to do a sweep on the car while we were being questioned. Of course it hits on something so they start asking a million questions about drugs in the car, which we had none but we couldn’t convince them. Long story short they make us pull over and do a full search of the car, don’t find anything, bring the dog back, he hits on something inside my buddies old mustang, so they go to tearing apart the inside of the car, removed the seats started cutting the carpet, I can’t make this up, the dog had hit on a old dog biscuit that had worked it’s way under the carport at one of the seat brackets on the passenger side. The BP agents start laughing as he shows his partners what the dog had hit on. He then turns to us who are all up against the wall and says your free to go, we said are you going to put the car back together, … the guy tells us to F*ck off and to get the f*ck out of there as they knew we were a bunch of 19 year olds drunk and couldn’t do anything. So like good drunks, we threw the seats in the car and drove home with nothing on the inside of the vehicle attached.
