So you want to try it? If not I found a guy on Etsy that I got some stuff from in the past that has white Petg and will print me one for a hundred bucks.

Will he print two?

@jmauld Do you want to get some Pteg and print some up? PM me and we can talk about that if you like.

Yeah I will order some PETG and see if I can print these pieces. Do you guys want them printed with the same specs as mentioned on thingiverse or with more/less infill?

Your call, but the original is fine. Cool, Thanks.

You do know, that not only do we expect pics, but it seems as though some video is in order also?

@SKybolt Thanks for pushing me to make the flat panel mod, worked perfect last night anchored up in Ft Lauderdale. 3 TV's running and streaming with zero interruptions. Happy New Year

filament showed up today. Not 100% happy with this print because there was a slight layer shift near the top level.

I would highly suggest that these be painted before installed. PETG is resilient to UV, but it will eventually fail. Painting will make it last longer.

In reading about the new mobility array and compared to v2 RV array (the one we're discussing here) I can't seem to find whether or not there is a difference as far as service goes using the dish in motion. The rv page has both of those dish's using the same plan and no special option between the two.

In September they announced the new firmware that will shut the array down when going over 18-20 mph. And in October announced the new flat model that works while in motion. There has been no more discussion, or I can't seem to find it, on whether or not both will work while in motion or only the later will.

Looks like the coverage for the Chesapeake and surrounding area has changed to low capacity. Most of Fort Lauderdale is at high capacity now as is the rest of south FL for the most part. Most of the Mid Atlantic coast is low capacity. Went for no coverage to LC in no time.

Has anyone read anything that explains this or that anything has changed or is it just that the flat array is for motion and the other is not? My guess is the latter and that is it. Guess I will find out in the spring.

This piece is pretty cool. Took 12 hrs for this one part. I have one more of these and I will be finished with the first set
