Vector Imaging

Excellent, Mike!
I guess that some of us can chuckle since we have already navigated the impossible.
I just hope everyone else that is still riding the waves survives the ride.
I was amazed to see that the Scott saga was on a continuing basis and had gotten much worse.

Tell me which panel looks like S**t? You be the judge

From the lighting in the photo I see, the guage panel looks like different material. It also looks similar to my Vector panel material which as an aside looks nothing like any SR material I've seen. My memory also says that my panel is located in a depressed area in the helm moulding so you cannot see the edges and if you did the helm was white so it would blend. Seems to me that as SR makes the panels more custom (molded, etc.) it will be harder to replace them. Just an opinion I like the redish color in your guage panel better than the brownish color in the blank panel below it.

Yeah. The gauge panel is original and the brown one and the radio one is Vector, I was hoping to get the more original look .oh well. Just have to do it all over .

Same here; the guy dose great work but man what a pain to deal with.

Quite frustrating to deal with! I ordered a new dash panel at the start of November and still haven't received it or a reply to the three emails I've sent over the last month.... Guessing I'm going to have to order another from a different supplier. Any suggestions?

I've seen a few guys post positive things about Technographic.

It's amazing that Scott hasn't even tried to defend himself here like he did last time with the whole gun business. I guess his excuse well has run dry.

I heard he had to move suddenly because they found out his house/shop was built on an ancient Indian burial ground.

Makes sense to me. Did he you hear wheter he will be setting up a temporary shop in a tepee to service all of his happy CSR customers? Or will he just be moving all of his back orders and excuses off to the happy hunting grounds??

Have you payed him in advance? I ordered a set of panels on November the 23rd and received them sometime on the last part of January, early Febuary. At the beginning I was able to call him and he would answer the phone. Toward the end it was sought a hit and missed situation.

How many CSR orders are still "out there" ? You would think that CSR members would get top priority now that the other club stopped endorsing him. I really hope he comes through for you.

I'm still waiting for my panels that have been ordered and paid in full since November. Now you can't get a hold of him through any means. His message said he is moving shops for whatever reason and give him aweek to ten days and that was over two weeks ago. It is one thing to be strung out as long as there is some form of communication, but now that I can’t even get a hold of him makes me think that lots of trusting boaters will cumulatively be out thousands of dollars. Technographic has the panels I need just sucks having to pay twice for something.

Seriously?, a 10 page discussion about this clown? If you read this thread and still order from this guy, you have no brains.
There, i said it.

LOL, Papertrail, I just wish this 10 page discussion was posted before I made my order and I would have taken your advise.

Avenger,

Not to kick you when you are down but, there are several threads related to Scott's issues. One only need to do a search to see. I had been considering using him but, now there is no chance!

There are also threads on the Mako and THT websites all related to this guys perils. Too much drama for me thank you!! Good luck getting your panels. I hope he comes through for you!

It was a year ago that I needed some panels made up. It was the forums like this one, THT etc. that actually steered me away from Scott. Much as I wanted to help a man that is down, I didn't want to risk the drama. Additionally, it just doesn't make business sense to me, even as a business owner, to demand and/or pay in full up front for anything in today's day and age. A deposit yes, but payment in full is to me due upon satisfaction of a job well done.

Tecnografic was my answer.....and apparantly a full year later still is.
