Need Wiper Arm Help for a 2000 270 Sundancer

I have the boat listed in the title. I wanted a wiper on the boat, because when I purchased the boat it did not have one installed. I purchased a wiper arm but the splines were way to large for the motor that was on my boat. The motor on my boat has a 1/4" splined mount. I think that the...

    Engine Hatch Seal

I think the foam density is critical. I have some of the old seal, but not enough. I would use contact adhesive versus tape to re-install if it were me.

    Baat Cover for Sundancer

My boat is located on a river in a dry stack. It is amazing the dirt and bugs that get into the boat in my location. The cockpit cover just doesn't get the job done and the tarp is just too hard to manage. Has anyone found a reasonable "over the rub rail" cover. My boat does not have an...

    Check out these leaks...pics

I have the same boat and had the same leak locations, I can tell you that the portlights are definitely the first place to start. They resolved most of my problems. Do them all and see what happens.

Temporary Bilge Heater for Cold Snap

Profile is not up to date, I am in Virginia. The boat is on the rack, so the water doesn't help in my case. I'm not even sure where to get a ER in a day or two here, that's why I was searching for a one night alternative. Friday night here is 25 with daytime highs in the 40s.

Temporary Bilge Heater for Cold Snap

This didn't fit in the other thread and I didn't find anything after doing a search. This polar plunge is coming in a little earlier than my winterization appointment. Our forecast is 27 F now, but it seems to get colder by the minute. Is there any safe temporary (light over 1 night) way to...

270 Sundancer has Been Dry Stacked for About a Year - What to Check?

Oh, I only meant that people go through things that keep them from running a boat for a period of time, but don't want to part with the boat. Therefore, it would be of interest to have a list of things to check prior to launch. That is all, nothing more. Expected more posts. Thanks for those...

270 Sundancer has Been Dry Stacked for About a Year - What to Check?

It was filled at the marina in Texas. It was stabilized over the winter. We did run it this summer (7.4MPI) and it cranked just fine and started. The impeller was recently changed, but I will watch the temperature gauge. I thought this one would pickup more. We just moved and thats why the...

Mercathode Question - What to do in Dry Stack?

I was previously in brackish water with high salinity. I installed two mercathodes in series to fight the corrosion on my Bravo 3. I am dry stacked now in my new location. Will leaving them connected hurt anything? Disconnect them?
