One thing you don't want to do is mix battery types (AGM and wet cell for example). Charger should be OK but I believe that is the original unit. You may want to upgrade to a smart charger.

After going on a 330, and a 3700 Maxum the move from a 3055 to a 330 is not enough. So today we are looking at a 370 and a 340.

Looking at a '99 330. Has been kept under cover it's entire life. Canvas is in need of replacement. For those of you who have replaced, what was the cost. Asking as I would like to incorporate the cost into my offer (pending a survey as well). Thanks.

The boat had 2 new long blocks installed back in 2001. The boat appears to be well cared for. The engines are the standard 5.7's and there is a dink on the swim platform. I suspect the engines need to work very hard to move the boat.

There were indeed the 350 MAG MPI's. I have yet to find another with these engines. My concern would be torque vs. the big blocks.

Each manufacturer determines their own rating. Perfect world I would take 3 and make it one. The Tundra Crew Cab Body, with the Dodge Cummins engine and the Allison transmission in the GM's.

I am considering the purchase of a 99 290 Sundancer with the twin 4.3 carb package. I believe this was the standard engine package and the 5.0's and 5.7 were options. Would like real world numbers on performance. Did a search on the board but could not find anything.

My F250 CC 4x4 pulls my boat just fine. It has the 5.4 V8. I have gone as far as 140 miles one way without issue. As far as trailers I have a Venture and it has done very well.
