30 when I bought my first boat (225WE) but only 6 months later I bought my 280DA. I had partial ownership in a 16' runabout in my teenage years but it never ran nor got near the water so I won't count it.

Me too, I didn't get my first car until I was 19. I got my Shakespeare when I was 13. I had to cut a lot of grass to earn that $900.00

Bought my first boat at 14, it was a 1957 Chris Craft kit boat (already built) that was sitting as a deralect boat in a marina, this would be 1981. Bought it for $200 and a engine for another $200, stripped and refinished the entire bought and when I went away to collage my parents sold it for me for $6000, this was my down payment on my first brand new car (1985 Pontiac Trans Am).

Had my first at 16. I had no way to tow it. I used to offer boat rides for tow to the lake.

26,an old glaspar,i re painted the topsides with huge metalflake paint,it poroised so bad i sold it right away and bought a glastron with 45 chrysler,that was a nice riding boat.

my granddad sold boats, so i grew up on them, but didn't buy my first until last year :huh:. now on my second one.
