Use a shop vacuum and suck it from the drain hose where it empties into the shower sump box in the aft floor compartment. If that doesn't work, you may be able to use a fiberglass electricians fish tape and run it up from the sump box to clear the clog. once you get it clean you can perhaps take the AC unit out temporarily and use some liquid rubber paint to paint the inside of the drip pan and stop the rust for a while.Hi everyone. it’s been a while, because everything on the boat has been working!!
I do have a small a/c issue these days:
My drip pan has seen better days…it’s rusted and some debris is loose.
I think the drain for the pan is clogged, as the pan keeps filing up and I have to empty it with…yes…a turkey baster.
The drains is quite hard to reach…any ideas on how to unclog it?
Thanks!!
