Woody, pretty much everything I was going to say to answer your question has already been well-covered. Like Nathan, I question their numbers. Heck, they don't even know how many eagles there are so how can they come up with those numbers.Does this article make sense to you?

Many years ago WA switched to all steel shot for geese; might have been the whole country did at that time, but I'm not sure. Shooting steel loads made the hunter adjust his "swing" and aiming because the steel shot was so much faster than the lead as it flew through the air.
We have an eagles' nest about 1/2 mile upstream from where we live. It's always nice to see them soaring as they hunt for food.
