Death statistics, how about some meaningful numbers?

This would not surprise me at all. I think it’s going to shock people when the antibody testing starts.

Yup.
I’m convinced I had it. I had all of the symptoms, fever, chest and reparatory, lost taste and it hung around for about 4 weeks. Went to the doctor and they didn’t do any testing but gave me an antibiotic. This was mid February. I believe I got what I got from a trade convention I attended. Right after that, the rest of my family got it from me, but recovered quickly.

Some municipalities have Covid Dashboards for citizens to track and some have these numbers so why cant the media use those to shed a positive light? Answer..... Hilary Lost!!!

In response to the question posed in the title of this thread, here is a statistic for you.

Before all this started, On an average day, the New York City Fire Department performed CPR on average 60 times a day. That has increased dramatically and is now in the 220-230 range everyday. Many of these patients are pronounced without even being brought to the hospital.

Well, a bailout, like those for the financial services industry years back, was really bailing them out of a situation they had created with the subprime mortgages and the mortgage-backed securities. Many of those individuals should have gone to jail but did not. [Similarly, nothing happened to the FBI and DOJ people who railroaded the FISA proceedings. Folks like Brennan, McCabe, Comey, Clapper, etc., clearly lied. Yet they are not prosecuted, while the system those miscreants manage does indict citizens for similar, even lesser, offenses.]

Back to Covid-19 stimulus, this global pandemic was not caused by the ordinary citizens and businesses who will receive the stimulus. Therefore it is not a bail out. It is giving back to them money they paid in through taxes, etc. It is their money. Our money. The financial services bailout was through our money, too.

For the government its just debt whether we are 24 trillion or 28 trillion does it really matter we will never see the debt paid off in our grandchildren's life times.

Exactly! You can't project the death rate based on confirmed cases as only the very sick are being tested. Most estimates put a factor of at least 10 on actual exposures vs reported cases.

Here we are at around the so-called peak of the curve.
14,xxx deaths in the US.
89,xxx deaths globally.

In California 700 people die every day. 2 of which die from Corona.

Everyone who gets seasonal flu gets sick. Not so with Corona.

50% of all Corona deaths in the US are in NYC.

Yet we shut down our economy and spend trillions in stimulus.

Why are there no politicians or world leaders crying for PPE’s to reduce the 10’s of thousands that die from seasonal flu each year?

What’s the difference? Corona is more contagious? And? Less people are dying than w the flu.

More die from car accidents but we don’t outlaw driving.

Soon we’ll have a vaccine. We’ll have better treatment protocols including Hydroxychloroquine btw.

Yet the longer lasting damage to the country’s psyche will linger.

I feel for all the lives lost, some here have lost loved ones to Corona. But it’s far down the list of causes of death.

I hope holding China and the WHO accountable becomes a key ingredient of Trumps platform in the same way illegal immigration catapulted his candidacy.

I want China and WHO to pay for killing our citizens.

I think the main difference with Covid right now is the speed. We have lost 15k in a few weeks.

Yes. Dr I listened to states he treats this like elevation sickness (hypoxia).

That ventilators help people breathe who’s respiratory muscles can’t inhale and exhale. That he treats the underlying pneumonia w oxygen saturation not forced O2. That it could be doing irreparable damage to lungs.
